A community forest green Bach (Calocedrus rupestris) growing on limestone has been discovered in the national park of Phong Nha – Ke Bang.
This is the population of primeval forest green Bach largest remaining in Vietnam, is determined to exist over 500 years old.
Forest Green Technology populations were discovered by Professor Leonid Avereyanov’s (Institute of Plant Khamarop – Russia), Professor Phan Ke Loc (Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources of Vietnam) and Centre staff research and Rescue National Park, Phong Nha-Ke Bang.
