After good performance on the French circuit, Augustine reached the 1 / 2 final of Futures GIZA (Egypt) and Faro (Portugal) tournaments.
After six weeks of training Augustine Gensse starts the competition by participating in the qualifying round for the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon. He won against Guillermc Alcaide (6 / 3 6 / 4) and Albert Ramos (6 / 3 6 / 3). In the quarterfinals he lost against the No.1 qualifying seed Kevin Anderson.
He joined the Giron Federal twice at 18 and 24. At 22 went to Barcelona for 18 months of training.
